RALEIGH, N.C. – David Finch, president and CEO of ATCOM Business Technology Solutions (http://www.atcombts.com), has announced that the communications solutions provider replaced a legacy Nortel telephone system with a state-of-the-art Mitel 3300 Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) communications system for Sirchie Finger Print Laboratories, a fully integrated manufacturer of quality products for the worldwide law enforcement community. The new communications platform is equipped with all paperless IP telephones, and includes applications such as Unified Messaging with desktop features allowing voicemails to be easily retrieved and managed; contact call center/ACD, for customer calls to be handled more efficiently; and dynamic extension for mobile users, which helps on-the-go employees stay connected.
“ATCOM is known for their service, so we went with them for our new communications system based on that,” said Charles Menn, IT manager for Sirchie Finger Print Laboratories. “You can install a great system, but without great service, it is nearly worthless, and ATCOM has really provided that essential component for us.”
“The new communications platform we installed for Sirchie Finger Print Laboratories will ensure seamless communication throughout all aspects of the business,” said Finch. “We at ATCOM are pleased to form this partnership with Sirchie, and we have enjoyed working with the company to improve their communication system.”
